I am SO excited for us to have a BLOG section on our website! We are going to cover so many topics that don't even have to do with JUST skincare. We are going to talk about everything. The good, the bad and the ugly. We also will be having guest bloggers to come in and touch on certain subjects. So that will be super cool. First, let's start out by me telling you a little more about myself.
My name is Chanté and I live in San Diego, California and this is my brand. I started Roses N Rosé back in March of 2017. With no intention of really doing anything with it or expecting it to become anything.
I am VERY independent and always knew one day I would run my own business. This all started way back when I was in High School. I couldn't find any products that I liked or anything that even worked for that matter. So I started making my own and I did this for years. After a while friends and family started to ask for the products I was creating which was great, but still nothing registered in my mind. I actually always wanted to run my own marketing company which is probably why none of this was ever a thought to me. Once I moved to San Diego in 2016 from Orange County, I started working for a yacht company. There was so much spare time (it's not every day someone drops a mil on a yacht) I needed something MORE! So I figured why not start something out from what I know. The next day at work I taught myself how to build a website, I taught myself everything I know now (also never went to college) and launched two weeks later.
It's been a journey and every day I continue to grow and learn. But I will say that I am proud. My brand doesn't have the world's biggest following, it's not sold in Sephora or anything crazy and it's not super well known. But it does have a LOYAL following. A community of strong bad-ass women who work their asses off and still make time to pamper themselves. My brand has allowed me to have more time with my family, leave a full time job and is now in nearly 40 stores and in 10 different states (which you can find here) in just one quick year and a half.
I am a huge believer in going after the things you want. To be completely honest, half of the time I don't even think about the consequences. There's not a negative thought that crosses my mind. I think of exactly what I want and I go for it. Sure, it has it's pros and cons at times. but YOLO right?? So if you're reading this and there's something you want in life, if there's a business you want to start, a place you want to go, my vote is DO IT. Also, this was my FIRST BLOG POST EVER and I am not sure what else to say. So we are going to end this here but I am more than happy to answer any questions any of you beauties may have, so leave a comment below and let's get to know each other!
